The Clarence & Helen Pettit Scholarship Fund
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
This scholarship fund was created by prominent community members and philanthropists, Gordon and Fran Fisher. Created in honor of Rev. Clarence & Helen Pettit, funding from this scholarship will lift a portion of the burden of private secondary and post-secondary costs for multiple students associated with Hilltop Lutheran Neighborhood Center.
Scholarship Recipient Requirements
Applicants are required to be residents of the state of Delaware and currently enrolled in a Delaware public school. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative unweighted grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship, a demonstrated financial need, and formal acceptance to a private or charter secondary institution, or college or university.

The Clarence and Helen Pettit Scholarship will open annually February 1st, and will close for applicant review on June 1st.
